Finally, my Sockapalooza 4 FO Post!

My downstream sock pal (Julia, of MoonTea) has posted about the socks I sent her, so go take a look!

A few details about those Mermaids Socks for the curious:

Pattern: Mermaid, from Lucy Neatby, found in Cool Socks, Warm Feet. Excellent pattern, excellent designer, excellent book!

Yarn: Custom dyed Kona superwash from Lovesticks. She was a delight to work with, so helpful and patient with me, and came up with the perfect yarn for this pattern!

Needles: Shoot, can't remember now. US 1's, I think.

Mods: Instead of the heel options offered in the book, I used Dawn Broccos' afterthought heel tutorial. I had to monkey with it a bit, because I think my row gauge was kind of tight, but I love the finished result--so pinwheelly!
